This partnership sounds extremely specific, which actually makes it more believable than vague quantum marketing. Hybrid quantum classical computing for chemical and biomanufacturing plant design is not a casual consumer use case. It is messy industrial engineering with optimisation problems everywhere. The agentic AI part makes me pause though, because letting autonomous systems reason around plant design sounds useful but also like something that needs serious guardrails. Would you trust quantum enhanced AI agents in industrial engineering workflows?

Specific industrial use cases are exactly where quantum might quietly become useful first

There is a big difference between proposing designs and approving final engineering decisions. Humans better stay in the loop

I like this because it is not pretending quantum will replace laptops next year. It targets a hard optimisation problem

Agentic AI in engineering sounds powerful, but only if audit trails are excellent. You need to know why a system recommended something

The phrase 'quantum enhanced agentic AI' is painful, but I admit the use case is interesting
