This would be handy, especially for older forums where valuable information is spread across thousands of posts. Searching for a solution is often harder than the actual problem.

Maybe combine it with a filter so users can view all replies, only highlighted replies, or unanswered questions.

The forum should still feel like a conversation though. Nobody wants every topic reduced to one final sentence and a big button.
