A less exciting but impressive example was watching AI clean up messy data. Taking inconsistent information and turning it into something usable is the kind of task humans spend hours doing.

It is not the sort of thing that gets viral videos because nobody shares a spreadsheet transformation with dramatic music.

But businesses are probably going to get more value from that than from generating funny pictures.

The speed of progress is the wildest part. A feature that seems unbelievable gets released, then a few months later everyone treats it as normal.

That does create a strange effect where people stop noticing how advanced the technology has become.

The danger is that expectations keep rising faster than the tools can actually deliver. AI is impressive, but it is not a magic button for every problem.
