I do think some parts are overhyped though
Especially consumer chatbots being sold like magic replacements for everything

They're useful tools, not general intelligence
It's not a bug, it's a feature

I'm honestly more impressed by boring AI than flashy AI
Stuff like automation in spreadsheets or customer support is where the real value is

Nobody tweets about it but it saves companies millions

I don't think we're at peak hype yet, honestly
We've had hype cycles before with crypto, cloud, mobile apps, but AI feels different because it's already embedded everywhere

The real impact hasn't even fully hit jobs and education yet, that's still coming
Normal is overrated

I think we're in the "confusion phase" of AI right now
Everyone knows it matters but nobody fully agrees on how it fits into everything

That usually means big changes are still ahead

My guess is we're in the middle chapter, not the ending
Early excitement is gone but deep transformation hasn't fully landed yet

Feels like the calm before the bigger shift
I read every reply. Even the bad ones.
